Analyzing financial market trends with a candlestick chart on a digital screen.

In brief

  • Eight USDC pairs delisted from Cross Margin; three also removed from Isolated Margin
  • Delisting effective August 21 at 06:00 UTC; borrowing suspended August 18
  • Users cannot transfer affected assets to Isolated Margin accounts immediately
  • Positions close automatically; no position updates during 3-hour delisting window
  • BNB Smart Chain wallet maintenance scheduled August 20 at 06:00 UTC

Affected Pairs and Timeline

The eight Cross Margin pairs being delisted are AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC, and VELODROME/USDC. Three of these—HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, and NXPC/USDC—will also be removed from Isolated Margin.

Binance Margin will suspend isolated margin borrowing on the three affected Isolated Margin pairs on August 18 at 06:00 UTC. This gives traders a three-day window before the full delisting takes place.

Immediate Actions Required

Users can no longer transfer assets of the affected pairs into their Isolated Margin accounts as of now. On August 21 at 06:00 UTC, Binance Margin will close all positions, conduct automatic settlement, and cancel pending orders on these pairs.

The delisting process itself may take approximately three hours. During this window, users will not be able to update their positions. Traders holding margin positions in any of the eight pairs should plan accordingly before the deadline.

Binance will perform wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) on August 20 at 06:00 UTC. Deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain will be suspended starting from August 20 at 05:55 UTC. The maintenance is expected to take about one hour, though trading of tokens on the network will continue unaffected. Service will resume once maintenance is complete.
