Inflows Persist Despite Price Pullback
Bitcoin ETF inflows have held steady over the five-day period, with cumulative inflows reaching $2.65 billion through Wednesday. Monday marked a 2026 high of $998.95 million, suggesting strong appetite for spot exposure even amid price swings. Bitcoin traded at $83,743 at the time of publication, down 2.7% over 24 hours but up 9.5% over seven days.
BlackRock and Fidelity dominated Wednesday's flows. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF by assets, led with $166 million in inflows, while Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) received $143 million. The two funds continue to capture the bulk of institutional capital.
Ether and Altcoin ETFs Follow
US spot Ether ETFs drew around $105 million on Wednesday, marking their fourth consecutive day of net inflows. Cumulative Ether ETF inflows have reached $13.8 billion, underscoring sustained institutional interest in Ethereum exposure. Spot XRP ETFs added $18 million on Wednesday, bringing cumulative inflows to about $1.8 billion.
Year-to-date Bitcoin ETF inflows stand at approximately $596 million, while September inflows have reached $2.37 billion. The persistent flows signal that institutional investors continue to view ETF vehicles as the primary on-ramp for cryptocurrency exposure, regardless of near-term price action.
