In brief

  • Bitcoin ETFs received $433 million in net inflows on September 18
  • Ethereum ETFs added $144 million the same day, rebounding from prior negative sessions
  • Fidelity's FBTC and BlackRock's ETHA captured 72% and 79% of respective flows

Fidelity and BlackRock lead the charge

Fidelity's FBTC was the standout performer on the Bitcoin side, attracting $311 million of the day's total — capturing roughly 72% of all Bitcoin ETF inflows. BlackRock's IBIT contributed $108 million, rounding out the two largest players in the space.

On the Ethereum side, BlackRock's ETHA led with $114 million, absorbing roughly 79% of all Ethereum ETF inflows for the day. Fidelity's FETH added roughly $26 million.

These two firms now dominate the institutional gateway to digital assets. Their continued appetite matters.

Assets under management reach new highs

Total Bitcoin ETF assets under management reached $102.532 billion, a figure that now represents 6.29% of Bitcoin's entire market capitalization. Cumulative historical net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs have hit $55.161 billion since their launch.

Total AUM for spot Ethereum ETFs now stands at $16.719 billion, representing 5.2% of Ethereum's market cap. Cumulative inflows have reached $13.250 billion. The aggregate capital committed to these products now exceeds $68 billion.

The scale is striking. Institutional money isn't trickling in — it's consolidating around a handful of products run by the largest asset managers on Earth.
