In brief

  • Ethereum (ETH) traded near $2,525 after opening around $2,700, per U.Today's analysis.
  • Ethereum's $2,500 level is its most relevant, U.Today said, with RSI around 42.
  • Zcash (ZEC) sat near $1,190, about 30% below its September high of around $1,700.
  • Shiba Inu (SHIB) dropped to $0.00000542; Hyperliquid (HYPE) held above $84 support, per U.Today.

Ethereum tests $2,500

ETH's September high of $2,800 is still the ceiling, and it has failed to break it twice, according to U.Today. The token was testing the blue moving average around $2,505 and had just slipped below the cyan average near $2,550.

The red candle came on high volume, which the outlet said showed sellers were active. It put ETH's RSI at around 42 (weak, but not oversold).

The $2,500 level is the most relevant price level for Ethereum, a psychologically significant round-number support.

U.Today's analysis said a daily close above $2,550 would signal buyers returning, with targets at $2,610 and then $2,700. A breakout above $2,800 would end the two-month range. On the downside, it listed $2,400 as the next support, then the September low around $2,350, and named $2,300 to $2,335 (where the orange and black averages sit close together) as the chart's strongest support zone.

Zcash sits on its main support

ZEC was about 30% below its September high of around $1,700, per U.Today. It failed near the green moving average at $1,340, then fell sharply. It's now sitting on the blue and cyan averages around $1,180, which the outlet called the main support area, and its RSI has dropped to about 40 (the lowest in several weeks).

Volume was low. U.Today said that means it isn't a panic sell yet, but buyers aren't actively participating either. In its read, a daily close above $1,340 would be the first sign of strength for bulls. If $1,180 breaks, the outlet's next area of interest is $1,050 to $1,100, and a drop below $1,040 would break the September low and damage the overall trend.

SHIB and HYPE

SHIB dropped to $0.00000542 after breaking below its long-term average, with RSI at 45. U.Today said holding $0.00000529 could set up a bounce to $0.00000565; if that level doesn't hold, it sees further decline.

HYPE pulled back to $85.76 from its $94 high but stayed above all major moving averages (RSI 47). Support at $84 held, and the outlet described the move as a normal pullback in an uptrend.

All of these levels and scenarios are U.Today's technical reads, not forecasts or advice.
