Fireblocks exec says Dynamic wallets likely power some Fiserv bank transfers
In brief
- Fireblocks VP Itai Turbahn said Dynamic wallets likely power some bank transfers on Fiserv infrastructure.
- Fiserv hasn't confirmed that Dynamic or Fireblocks is involved.
- Turbahn named no product, shared no volumes and gave no timeline.
- Fireblocks bought Dynamic in October 2025 for an estimated $90 million.
- Fiserv plans to disclose its digital wallet provider by the end of 2026.
What Turbahn said (and what he didn't)
Turbahn isn't an outside observer here. He co-founded Dynamic before Fireblocks acquired it, which puts him close to what the company's wallets are actually doing out in the wild.
Still, the claim is narrow. He stopped short of claiming a direct relationship between Fireblocks and Fiserv, and neither company has publicly confirmed a direct link. Crypto Briefing wrote that the technology could be in a trial phase, or that it could be connected to Fiserv indirectly through a partner that builds on Dynamic.
That's a big caveat.
Inside the $90 million wallet deal
Fireblocks acquired Dynamic in October 2025 for an estimated $90 million. The deal brought Turbahn and Dynamic's embedded wallet product into a company best known for serving institutional digital asset clients.
Dynamic's wallets are non-custodial, embedded and programmable. They serve millions of onchain accounts, with clients including Kraken and Zerohash.
The security model relies on TSS-MPC (short for threshold signature scheme multi-party computation). Under that setup, the private key is split into pieces, and transactions get signed without those pieces ever being reassembled in one place. No single location ever holds the full key, which is the design point.
When Fiserv could say more
Fiserv plans to disclose its digital wallet provider by the end of 2026. Until then, what we've got is a "likely" from the acquired company's co-founder, not a confirmed integration, and there's no product name or volume figure attached to it.
It's a short window. If Fiserv names a provider by year-end, we'll learn whether Dynamic's wallets are directly in the picture, sitting one layer removed through a partner or not involved at all.
