Oracle extends AI Agent Studio beyond Fusion into industry applications
In brief
- Oracle launched AI Agent Studio for industry applications, Crypto Briefing reported.
- AI Agent Studio previously lived inside Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, its core business operations suite.
- More than 80,000 experts were certified on the platform by mid-2026, the report said.
- Eligible Fusion customers keep free access to the studio; industry pricing wasn't disclosed.
From Fusion to industry apps
AI Agent Studio isn't new. Oracle first unveiled it on March 20, 2025 at Oracle CloudWorld London, where it debuted as part of Fusion Cloud Applications (layered on top of more than 50 pre-built Oracle AI agents already in that suite), Crypto Briefing reported.
Customers and partners can build custom agents through no-code, low-code or pro-code approaches. The platform also supports multi-agent teams, meaning groups of agents that split a larger job across departments. It's targeted functions such as finance, HR and supply chain.
The studio has grown in steps since then. In October 2025 Oracle added an AI Agent Marketplace that lets partners offer agents Oracle has validated, and around that launch the platform supported large language models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and xAI. A July 2026 release brought an AI-native builder that folded all three build approaches into one experience (Oracle calls the output "Fusion Agentic Applications"). An October 2026 update then added a modernized interface, visual builders, debugging tools and expanded connectivity features.
By mid-2026, more than 80,000 experts had been certified on the platform, per the report.
Access controls and cost
Oracle has framed the studio as a way to close the gap in enterprise AI adoption. Its approach is to embed agents directly in trusted company data and established processes, rather than bolting them on from outside.
Agents built in the studio respect existing user access controls and keep an audit trail. If an employee can't see certain data, the agent can't either.
On pricing, the only detail in the report covers the existing base: Oracle has kept the studio available at no additional cost to eligible Fusion customers.
The ecosystem play
Crypto Briefing's analysis reads the multi-model support as a hedge. In the outlet's view, backing several model providers lets Oracle avoid betting on a single AI winner and position itself as a neutral layer.
The other half of that argument is about staying power.
Each new set of applications under the studio's umbrella, the outlet argued, is another place a customer can build agents without leaving Oracle's ecosystem. That's the logic behind pushing the toolkit out of the back office and into industry software.
