In brief

  • ORANGE JUICE raised $40 million to launch a permanent capital company acquiring cash-flow-generating businesses
  • Connecticut-based firm pursues bitcoin treasury strategy targeting businesses with $1–10 million annual cash flow
  • Acquired companies retain identities; founders can retire, continue operating, or transition leadership
  • Ricardo Salinas and ego death capital partners including Jeff Booth and Lyn Alden anchor the investment

Acquisition Strategy and Target Profile

ORANGE JUICE will target cash-flow-generating businesses with between $1 million and $10 million in annual cash flow across various sectors. Acquired businesses will retain their identities, while founders can retire, continue operating, or transition leadership over time. Sellers will receive part of their consideration in ORANGE JUICE equity, aligning incentives with long-term performance.

The permanent capital model removes the traditional constraints of fund cycles. Cash generated by acquired businesses will be reinvested into additional acquisitions or the bitcoin treasury, using conservative leverage and capital market access. This structure allows the firm to think in decades, not quarters.

Capital Deployment and Operational Support

ORANGE JUICE is assembling an in-house operating team to support operational improvements and artificial intelligence adoption across its portfolio companies. The firm intends to pursue a public listing in the future to provide a liquid ownership currency and access to capital markets, expanding beyond its current capitalization base.

Ricardo Salinas, founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, participated as an anchor investor. His backing reflects confidence in the permanent capital thesis and bitcoin treasury strategy as a hedge against monetary debasement.

"Building a business takes decades. Founders deserve more than one path when it's time to transition ownership." — Nico Lechuga, founding partner of ORANGE JUICE
