Tonkeeper rebrands to Keeper, expands to Bitcoin and Ethereum
In brief
- Keeper (formerly Tonkeeper) now supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Arbitrum, TRON, and TON.
- Battery system enables gasless transactions by covering network fees without requiring native gas token balances.
- Roadmap includes cross-chain swaps, integrated DApp browser, native DeFi, and loyalty program within one year.
Multichain consolidation
Keeper is designed to bring those activities into one application, giving both existing Tonkeeper users and newcomers a single destination for assets, applications and liquidity across supported chains while maintaining a route into the TON ecosystem. The rebranding reflects a shift from a TON-specific wallet to a broader multichain platform.
The company said Keeper's expansion is focused on simplifying multichain use rather than merely increasing the number of supported networks. Users can now hold, trade, and spend across different blockchains without juggling separate wallets for each network.
Battery's gasless infrastructure
Its Battery system supports gasless transactions, meaning users can pay network fees without maintaining balances of each network's native gas token. This removes friction for new users unfamiliar with gas mechanics and reduces the operational overhead of managing multiple token reserves.
Over the next year, the company plans to expand Battery's gasless infrastructure across supported networks, introduce native DeFi, develop tools for everyday spending, and launch a loyalty program for active users. The roadmap also includes cross-chain swaps, an integrated decentralized application browser and additional financial products.
Keeper's rebranding signals a broader industry trend toward unified multichain wallets that abstract away the complexity of navigating fragmented blockchain ecosystems.
