In brief

  • SHIB's ten largest exchange inflows totaled 10.44 billion tokens over 24 hours, per U.Today.
  • Net exchange inflow stood at 41.36 billion SHIB, though the netflow reading fell 2.83%.
  • Whale inflows can signal potential selling or repositioning for accumulation, U.Today said.
  • SHIB traded at $0.00000578, just above its 200-day moving average near $0.00000565.

What the flow data shows

U.Today's report put total SHIB exchange inflows at 460.69 billion (up 1.37%) against outflows of 419.33 billion SHIB (up 1.19%). That's where the 41.36 billion net figure comes from.

The size of each transfer is the more telling number. Average inflow per transaction rose 1.65% to 1.94 billion SHIB, compared with 713.26 million SHIB for the average outflow, and U.Today said larger deposits than withdrawals are typical of whale activity.

Exchange reserves sat at 87.66 trillion SHIB (up 0.05%), worth roughly $505.77 million, a dollar value that's down 0.81%. Active addresses rose 0.96% to 753. The burned supply metric showed no reading.

Two ways to read it

U.Today's analysis says the inflows cut both ways.

Its report noted that traders often treat whale exchange inflows as a warning of potential selling, since tokens must be on an exchange to be sold. The same outlet said those inflows can also signal repositioning ahead of accumulation or liquidity provision. It didn't settle the question; instead, U.Today said whether netflow turns negative would help clarify whale intent.

The technical picture

SHIB traded at $0.00000578, having pulled back from a $0.00000627 high reached in late September. In U.Today's technical analysis, the token held just above its 200-day moving average near $0.00000565, a level the outlet said had acted as a pivot in recent weeks. Shorter-term moving averages sat between $0.00000523 and $0.00000557 (what U.Today described as a layered support zone).

RSI was near the midline and recent volume had faded, per the report. U.Today said holding the 200-day average kept a retest of $0.00000600 to $0.00000627 in play, while a close below it would shift focus to $0.00000557 and $0.00000537. Those levels are U.Today's, not LeoDex News forecasts.
