How the integration works
The partnership combines Umbra's privacy layer and Arcium's encrypted execution engine to let Streamflow clients distribute tokens into shielded wallets. Recipients receive vested tokens directly into Umbra wallets, with each private vesting schedule added to Umbra's anonymity pool.
Streamflow clients retain access to vesting features including time-based locks, price-based conditions, and programmable distribution mechanisms. This means teams don't trade vesting control for privacy.
Why it matters
The problem is simple: roughly $97 billion in tokens were released through vesting and unlock schedules in 2025, with most of those transfers remaining publicly traceable onchain. That visibility can expose recipient identities, token allocations, and distribution timing to competitors and the broader market.
Kru Shah, Umbra founder, said the partnership combines Streamflow's vesting infrastructure with Umbra's privacy layer, calling it a major step for private token distribution. The integration includes two tracks: a standard track offering preferential pricing for most teams, and a custom track for larger volume or specialized distribution needs.
Malisha Stanojevich, Streamflow CEO, emphasized that onchain privacy is needed for broader mainstream adoption. Streamflow has served more than 1.3 million users and more than 40,000 projects, making this partnership a significant expansion of privacy options for an established vesting platform.
Arcium has been building confidential token infrastructure for Solana, including encrypted transfers and confidential token standards. The Umbra-Streamflow integration is the latest example of privacy infrastructure maturing on Solana.
