In brief
- US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $89.9 million in net outflows Monday, per SoSoValue data.
- Monday's outflows reversed two sessions of inflows totaling about $293 million.
- BTC traded at $85,559, roughly 32% below its $126,080 record, per CoinGecko.

Two days in, one day out
The $89.9 million in net outflows came after Bitcoin ETFs attracted around $293 million over the previous two October trading sessions, according to SoSoValue data cited by Cointelegraph. Total trading volume reached $2.18 billion, per the same SoSoValue data.
Two days of inflows, then a reversal.
A year off the record
Bitcoin set its all-time high of $126,080 on Oct. 6, 2025, according to CoinGecko, and Monday's pullback landed a day before that record's first anniversary. At $85,559 (the price when Cointelegraph published), BTC sits roughly 32% below the peak.
So what's happened to the ETF money over that year? Cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs have fallen 5.8% since the all-time high, from around $61.3 billion to $57.7 billion as of Monday, according to SoSoValue. That's the cumulative figure, not a single-day number, and it's lower today than it was when BTC printed its record.
Ether and altcoin funds
Bitcoin wasn't alone on Monday.
US spot Ether ETFs recorded roughly $51 million in net outflows, which extended their losing streak to five trading days. The funds lost a combined $206 million over that run, and their cumulative net inflows stand at $13.8 billion, according to SoSoValue.
Altcoin funds were split. Solana and Zcash funds recorded net outflows of $9.3 million and $3.6 million, respectively, while XRP ETFs saw no net flows on Monday after posting $3.3 million in outflows on Friday. Other altcoin ETFs posted mixed results on the day, per the same SoSoValue figures reported by Cointelegraph.
