XRP tests critical support as XRP Ledger activity collapses 59%
In brief
- XRP trades near $1.35, testing support zone between $1.33–$1.36
- XRP Ledger successful transactions fell 59.5% to 970,200; total transactions down 55.6%
- Daily RSI at 51.7, below signal average of 58.2, indicating neutral momentum
- Next support level around $1.28 if $1.33–$1.35 zone fails
Price Structure Under Stress
XRP trades near $1.35, almost precisely aligned with its long-term moving average. A shorter-term average near $1.34 has created a concentrated support zone between $1.33 and $1.36. This area matters because it represents the last meaningful floor before a deeper pullback becomes likely.
The asset's recent history underscores the fragility. XRP's August breakout propelled the token from roughly $1.00 to above $1.50, with a brief surge toward $1.70. Since then, the market has consistently failed to return to the $1.45–$1.50 range, instead forming lower local highs. That pattern signals weakening conviction among buyers.
On-Chain Momentum Evaporates
The technical picture worsens when you examine XRP Ledger fundamentals. Successful transactions on XRP Ledger decreased by 59.5% to approximately 970,200, while total XRP Ledger transactions fell by 55.6% to 1.2 million. Active users fell by 42.3% to 126,200, and payments dropped by 35.6% to 573,100.
These aren't minor fluctuations. They represent a wholesale pullback in network usage. "Bulls have little fundamental momentum to work with, as XRP Ledger activity has drastically declined," according to on-chain analysis.
Neutral Momentum Favors Sellers
The daily RSI has dropped to about 51.7, which is lower than its signal average of about 58.2. This neutral reading—neither oversold nor overbought—creates an asymmetric risk profile. If support at $1.33–$1.35 breaks, the next level of support sits around $1.28, with a main moving-average cluster around $1.25–$1.28 coming next.
For XRP to regain a distinctly bullish short-term structure, a move through $1.45 is necessary. Until that happens, sellers retain the upper hand. The combination of collapsed on-chain activity and neutral momentum leaves little room for error at current levels.
