XRP, Zcash and Hyperliquid hover near support after early-October drop
In brief
- XRP traded near $1.395 in U.Today's October 12 analysis, down from a late-September high near $1.66.
- XRP's main trend still leaned down, per U.Today, with low volume signaling weak conviction.
- Zcash traded near $1,236 after bouncing from about $1,190; its larger trend remained up.
- Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) were testing support near $85.24 and $0.00000542, respectively.
XRP: a bounce under the 50-day average
There's a bounce. It just isn't a convincing one (at least not yet).
According to U.Today's technical analysis, XRP sat just under its 50-day average near $1.40, with the long-term average near $1.34 right below it. Volume was low in the previous couple of sessions, which the analysis read as a lack of market conviction.
U.Today put support at $1.35 and $1.32, with resistance at $1.45 and the $1.50 zone. In its scenarios, a close above $1.45 on rising volume could target $1.50, and a clean break above that could open a path toward $1.60. A close below $1.35 would mean the bounce had failed, with $1.32 and then $1.25 as the next levels.
Zcash: the larger trend is still up
ZEC looks different. Zcash traded near $1,236 after a steep fall from its late-September high near $1,700, then bounced from about $1,190 on October 10 and held above that level. The analysis said ZEC's larger trend was still up, with price far above its long-term average near $750.
Support sits at $1,190 and $1,100 in U.Today's read, with resistance at $1,300 (matching the short-term average). A close below $1,190 would mean the bounce had failed, putting $1,100 and then $1,000 in view. Volume's been light too, and the analysis said a clean move in either direction would likely need more trading activity.
Hyperliquid and Shiba Inu test support
HYPE traded near $85.24 and SHIB near $0.00000542, and both were testing support. HYPE peaked near $98 in late September before falling to about $83, though the analysis said its longer-term trend stayed up, with price well above its main averages near $64 and $76.
U.Today put HYPE support at $83 and $78 to $80, with resistance at $88 and then the $92 area. A close above $88 on strong volume could target $92 (and a move above $95 could test the high near $98). A close below $83 would mean the bounce had failed, with $78 and then $74 next.
These levels come from U.Today's chart read, not from LeoDex News.
