In brief

  • Zappin launched on Robinhood Chain September 21 with 90% ETH cashback for 30 days
  • OnchainLens-built Telegram bot executes token swaps through Uniswap protocol
  • Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum Orbit layer-2 for tokenized real-world assets

Streamlined Trading on Layer-2

Zappin is a Telegram-native trading interface that removes friction from token swaps. Users interact with the bot inside their Telegram app, select tokens, and execute trades without leaving the chat interface. Robinhood Chain operates as an Arbitrum Orbit-based Ethereum Layer-2, inheriting Ethereum's security while processing transactions with ETH as gas. This architecture positions the network for both speed and settlement finality.

Uniswap was integrated as a day-one AMM partner on Robinhood Chain, providing the liquidity backbone for Zappin's swaps. The 90% cashback offer runs for 30 days, incentivizing early adoption and testing of the bot's functionality.

Positioning for Real-World Assets

Robinhood Chain was built with a vision to provide a platform optimized for tokenized real-world assets and on-chain financial services. Zappin's launch aligns with that mandate by lowering barriers to token trading on the network. DEX volumes and total value locked on Robinhood Chain have shown upward trajectories since mainnet launch, suggesting growing user interest in the layer-2 ecosystem.

One notable design choice: Zappin does not have a native token. The OnchainLens team explicitly stated this upfront, sidestepping speculation around a future token launch that could alienate early users. It's a deliberate move to build trust in a space where token announcements often precede rug pulls.
