Archax brings 100+ regulated assets to Aptos blockchain via FCA integration
In brief
- Archax FCA-regulated exchange integrates with Aptos to tokenize 100+ regulated securities and real-world assets onchain
- MembersCap Tokenized Global Reinsurance Income Fund (MCM Fund I) launches as first product with Aptos Foundation partnership
- Archax plans to tokenize funds, equities, and debt securities on Aptos following initial launch
- Aptos hosts tokenized products from BlackRock and Franklin Templeton with nearly $1 billion in RWA assets under management
Regulated Assets Enter Aptos
Archax's FCA license has always been its calling card. In a market where most tokenization platforms operate in regulatory gray zones, Archax can point to explicit authorization from one of the world's most respected financial regulators. This regulatory foundation positions the exchange as a bridge between traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure.
The first product from the integration is the MembersCap Tokenized Global Reinsurance Income Fund, known as MCM Fund I, with the Aptos Foundation serving as general partner. Beyond this initial launch, Archax plans to tokenize additional financial instruments including funds, equities, and debt securities on the Aptos network.
Building on Institutional Momentum
The Aptos ecosystem already has institutional traction. The network already hosted tokenized products from BlackRock and Franklin Templeton, with nearly $1 billion in RWA-backed assets under management across the chain's institutional partners. BlackRock's BUIDL fund, which tokenizes US Treasury exposure, has become something of a proof of concept for the entire tokenization sector.
The scale of Archax's pipeline signals serious intent. This isn't a one-off announcement—the pipeline of 100-plus assets indicates a business strategy rather than a one-off marketing partnership.
Regulatory Architecture
Archax has also expanded its footprint. The exchange obtained a broker-dealer license via tZERO infrastructure to pursue US market access. Meanwhile, Aptos partnered with Vertalo and tZERO to enhance its regulatory capabilities, creating a layered compliance architecture.
This multi-layered approach reflects the maturation of blockchain infrastructure for regulated finance. Tokenization of real-world assets remains in early innings, but integrations like this one demonstrate that the mechanics are solidifying.
