In brief

  • Binance delists six tokens from spot market on August 17 at 03:00 UTC
  • Tokens removed: ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY, and VIC
  • Fourth major delisting round of 2026; 21 tokens removed year-to-date
  • Binance won't participate in Vanar contract migration but will support withdrawals

Binance's Listing Review Process

Binance explained that it periodically reviews every listed digital asset to determine whether it still satisfies its listing requirements. The exchange evaluates factors including project team commitment, development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network security, community engagement, and transparency when assessing whether assets meet its standards.

This approach reflects the exchange's effort to maintain listing quality. Assets that fall short on these metrics face removal from the platform.

2026 Delisting Pace Accelerates

The August delisting marks Binance's fourth major token delisting round of 2026. Year-to-date, the total number of tokens selected for delisting by Binance in 2026 is 21.

Prior removal announcements came in waves. Binance delisted six tokens (ACA, CHESS, DATA, DF, GHST and NKN) in February 2026. April saw the heaviest activity: eight assets (A2Z, FORTH, HOOK, IDEX, LRC, NTRN, RDNT and SXP) were removed mid-month, followed by six tokens (BIFI, FIO, FUN, MDT, OXT and WAN) later that month. The exchange also delisted three tokens (DEGO, DENT and TRU) in April 2026. May brought five removals: Automata Network (ATA), Harvest Finance (FARM), Enzyme (MLN), Phoenix (PHB) and Syscoin (SYS). June included four delistings: Contentos (COS), Dar Open Network (D), Highstreet (HIGH) and MOBOX (MBOX).

Vanar Migration Caveat

One notable detail: Binance said it will not participate in the project's planned contract migration, meaning users wishing to swap their VANRY tokens must do so independently through the project's migration portal. However, Binance will continue supporting withdrawals of the existing VANRY token on the Ethereum and Polygon networks, giving holders a window to move their assets off the platform before the August 17 deadline.
