Bitcoin, BNB, LINK and NEAR test support in U.Today's Nov. 2 price analysis

In brief

  • BTC sat near $77,871, testing $76,000 support, with a cautiously bearish short-term outlook, per U.Today.
  • BNB traded at about $714, defending the $690–$700 zone, per the analysis.
  • LINK traded near $11.61, holding above its 200-day moving average near $11.00.
  • NEAR sat near $4.40 and needed to hold $4.00–$4.20, U.Today said.

LINK has the longest backstory of the four. According to U.Today's price analysis, Chainlink broke above its major moving averages in August and ran from roughly $8.00 to $15.75. It was trading at about $11.61 at publication (well off that late-September peak).

U.Today said sellers still controlled the near-term trend, with price under shorter-term moving averages bunched around $12.00–$12.60. It put daily RSI around 40–45, on the weak side of neutral. Resistance starts near $12.00–$12.20, it said, and the $12.50–$12.70 supply zone above that is the stronger barrier.

In U.Today's read, $11.00 is the level that matters. That's where LINK's 200-day moving average sits, and the analysis said the wider recovery stays intact as long as price holds above it. If it gives way for good, U.Today said the $10.40–$10.60 region comes into view, where buyers showed up recently. LINK also wicked down toward $10.30 before climbing back above $11.50.

NEAR's broader structure holds, for now

NEAR came off an August range of $1.60–$1.80 and, per U.Today, tore through several resistance levels to top out around $6.00 in early October on heavier-than-usual volume. At about $4.40, it was trading under its short-term moving averages, with resistance around $4.50–$4.80.

The analysis still called the longer-term chart healthy. Its intermediate and long-term moving averages were rising and sat well below price, so U.Today said the broader bullish structure wasn't broken. NEAR had to hold $4.00–$4.20 to avoid a deeper correction, it said. A decisive break there could expose $3.60–$3.70 (roughly where the rising longer-period average sits), while a sustained move above $5.00 could open a path toward $5.40 and eventually $5.80–$6.00.

BNB and Bitcoin lean bearish short-term

U.Today's summary lines on BNB and Bitcoin both pointed to support tests. It said BNB was at about $714, defending the $690–$700 support zone, with a neutral-to-bearish short-term outlook.

Its Bitcoin summary line read:

"Bitcoin (BTC): Near $77,871, BTC is testing $76,000 support, and the short-term outlook is cautiously bearish."
