In brief

  • Render Network's dashboard showed 82,560,402 frames as of September 2026, per the Render Network Foundation.
  • August output hit 1,328,005 frames, up 23% from July's 1,081,561.
  • Sunspark, an animated short, used more than 27,000 frames and was rendered entirely on the network.
  • RENDER token rose 27% in Q3 2026, from $1.51 to $1.91, Crypto Briefing reported.

Frame count and monthly growth

The network crossed the 80 million mark around September 10 and added more than 2 million frames soon after, Crypto Briefing reported. These are September figures (they aren't a current read).

Monthly output's been climbing as well. The Foundation's report puts August 2026 production at 1,328,005 frames, compared with 1,081,561 in July, a 23% month-over-month increase.

The model itself is simple. Studios don't buy their own hardware; they tap the network's distributed pool of machines and pay in the RENDER token. Underneath it sits a Burn & Mint Equilibrium model, a design intended to connect the token's value to how much the platform actually gets used.

Sunspark and SUBMERGE

The Foundation's report highlighted Sunspark, an animated short film directed by Danny Bourque. It was rendered entirely on Render Network and used more than 27,000 frames from the platform. According to the Foundation report, as relayed by Crypto Briefing, the film has screened at more than 50 film festivals and won the Best Animation award at the Twelve Lions Film Festival.

Sunspark wasn't the only creative project the report flagged. Render was also used to create 18K-resolution immersive artworks for the SUBMERGE exhibition at ARTECHOUSE in Washington, D.C., according to the September Foundation report.

Integrations and the token

Around the time of the milestone, Salad integrated payments using the RENDER token, and OTOY pushed updates to its OctaneRender software.

On the market side, RENDER gained 27% during Q3 2026, rising from $1.51 to $1.91, according to Crypto Briefing. The publication's explanation for that move rests on research findings it didn't name, so it's worth keeping the frame data and the price chart in separate boxes.

What the Foundation's numbers do show is usage. More frames went through the network in August than in July, and the cumulative count passed 82 million by September.

Frequently asked questions

What is Render Network?

Render Network is a decentralized GPU compute platform. People with spare GPU power supply it, and artists who need rendering work rent it. Studios using the network pay in the RENDER token instead of buying their own hardware.

How many frames has Render Network rendered?

Render Network's dashboard showed 82,560,402 frames as of September 2026, according to the Render Network Foundation's monthly report as relayed by Crypto Briefing. The network crossed 80 million frames around September 10.

What is Render Network's Burn & Mint Equilibrium model?

Burn & Mint Equilibrium is the token model behind Render Network. According to Crypto Briefing, the design is intended to connect the RENDER token's value to platform usage.
