In brief

  • Yi He said Binance currently has no cash voucher campaign and warned users about phishing links.
  • Binance's community rewards campaign needs regulatory approval before going live, Yi He said.
  • Interim CMO Eowyn Chen said there's no compensation for the withdrawal suspension.
  • Binance began restoring withdrawals on November 1, 2026, across more than a dozen networks, U.Today reported.

What Yi He said

In an X post cited by U.Today, Yi He said the community rewards campaign won't launch until the regulator signs off. She didn't name the regulator (and gave no launch date). The post said the review was expected once offices reopened the following day.

For now, there's no voucher to claim.

"There is currently no cash voucher campaign, so please be vigilant against all types of phishing and scam links."

U.Today reported that the clarification came amid concerns that scammers were using the buzz around promotional campaigns to target crypto users.

No compensation for the suspension

Eowyn Chen, former CEO of Trust Wallet and Binance's interim CMO (her title as reported by U.Today), shared a similar warning. In an X post that included a scam alert, Chen said there's no compensation for the withdrawal suspension and urged users to follow only official Binance accounts.

It's not a hypothetical risk. Scammers have circulated fake compensation offers, according to U.Today. One X user replying to Chen's post said the "free $150 compensation" screenshots making the rounds were fake, and added that any "check your reward hub" or claim link should be treated as a scam. That reply came from a user, not from Binance.

Withdrawals coming back online

Binance began restoring customer withdrawals on Sunday, November 1, 2026, according to U.Today. The exchange had suspended them as a precaution while it worked to contain the incident's losses, assess the impact, restore services and complete security checks.

U.Today's report of Binance's latest update lists withdrawals re-enabled on the ZEC, TON (USDT, GRAM), SUI, BTC and ETH (ETH, USDT, USDC) networks. BSC (BNB, USDT, USDC), XRP, Base (ETH, USDC) and DOGE are back too, as are Optimism, Arbitrum, TRX, SOL, Polygon and AVAXC.

Yi He said there's currently no cash voucher campaign, and Chen said there's no compensation for the withdrawal suspension. Any link claiming otherwise doesn't match what either executive has said publicly.
