In brief

  • Bitcoin ETFs took in $241.1 million last week, a third straight week of net inflows.
  • Cumulative Bitcoin ETF net inflows reached $57.8 billion, according to SoSoValue data.
  • Ether ETFs posted $138 million in net outflows after $690 million of inflows the prior week.
  • Zcash funds saw their first weekly outflow on record, around $94 million, Cointelegraph reported.

Bitcoin funds stretch the run to three weeks

The streak hasn't been smooth. Bitcoin ETFs added $2.4 billion and $6.2 million in the two preceding weeks, per SoSoValue data cited by Cointelegraph, so last week's $241.1 million landed somewhere between those two figures.

Year-to-date, the Bitcoin products have pulled in around $1.2 billion in net inflows (again on SoSoValue's numbers). That's a small slice of the $57.8 billion cumulative total.

Ether ETFs flip back to outflows

Ether funds went the other way. They recorded $138 million in weekly net outflows after attracting $690 million the week before, according to SoSoValue data reported by Cointelegraph.

On a year-to-date basis, Ether ETFs still show about $1.5 billion in net inflows per SoSoValue, which puts them slightly ahead of the Bitcoin funds' $1.2 billion over the same stretch.

The smaller products were mixed. Cointelegraph reported that Solana and XRP ETFs extended their inflow streaks with $2.4 million and $4.7 million, respectively.

Zcash funds didn't share in that, posting their first weekly outflow on record (around $94 million), according to Cointelegraph.

Prices and sentiment

Both majors were up on the week. Bitcoin traded at about $86,200 when Cointelegraph published its report, up 3.7% over seven days, according to CoinGecko data cited by Cointelegraph. Ether traded at about $2,727 at that time, up 3% over the same period, also per CoinGecko.

Sentiment cooled a little. Alternative.me's Crypto Fear & Greed Index read 70, down from 74, though it's still sitting in "Greed" territory.
