In brief

  • U.S. Bitcoin ETFs took in $2.95 billion over 30 days, per SoSoValue data cited by Decrypt.
  • Monday's $31.07 million inflow was the weakest day of the eight-day streak.
  • The eight-day streak began Sept. 17, two days after a $450.4 million outflow.
  • Ethereum ETFs added $982.5 million over 30 days; Solana and XRP funds also drew inflows.

A quiet Monday

Monday itself wasn't much. Bitcoin ETFs took in $31.07 million in net inflows, the weakest day of the streak, per SoSoValue figures cited by Decrypt. BlackRock's IBIT did most of the lifting with $54.84 million, while Grayscale's GBTC lost $23.19 million and Fidelity's FBTC shed $10.90 million.

Bitcoin was above $84,000 on Monday. Decrypt reported that the rally lifted it above the average ETF holder's cost basis of $81,722, which puts the typical fund investor in profit for the first time since January.

From a 141-week low to a big week

The streak followed a rough patch. On Sept. 15, Bitcoin ETFs lost $450.4 million (their biggest one-day outflow since June 24), and Ethereum ETFs lost another $142.3 million that day. Decrypt noted the outflow coincided with the U.S. Senate voting 49-50 against advancing the Clarity Act, which needed 60 votes.

Bitcoin funds netted just $6.2 million that week. Decrypt called it the smallest weekly inflow in 141 weeks.

Then the money came back.

Sept. 21 brought in nearly $1 billion, the best day for the funds since October 2025 according to Decrypt, and another $715 million followed on Sept. 22. Daily inflows tapered after that ($347 million on Sept. 23, $191 million on Sept. 24 and $134 million on Sept. 25), but the week still totaled about $2.4 billion. That's the biggest weekly haul since October 2025, Decrypt said.

ETH, SOL and XRP funds

It isn't just Bitcoin. Ethereum ETFs added $982.5 million over 30 days and $17.1 million on Monday, per SoSoValue. Solana funds took in $278.2 million over the month and XRP funds brought in $127.05 million, according to the same SoSoValue figures reported by Decrypt.

Bitcoin funds' August run lasted nine days. It ended on Aug. 28, when the funds saw $201.9 million in outflows after Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh spoke at Jackson Hole, Decrypt reported.
