French committee backs amendment to tax Bitcoin-to-USDC swaps before cash-out
A French National Assembly committee adopted amendment I-CF1826, which would end tax deferral on crypto swaps into MiCA e-money tokens like USDC and overhaul cost-basis rules from Jan. 1, 2027 if enacted.
